Yosuke's Toy Cars - 22 December

Yosuke got a lot of toy cars for Christmas! :D
This time we have a guest star who arranged this set up - my dad! :D He saw me taking pictures for the Advent Calendar and insisted I had to take some with red cars and train wagons. As I'm a doll addict, he loves to collect model cars and Märklin model railways.

Something else is also new. I got my (main) Christmas present early. My parents asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I had two options. PlayStation4 Pro or a new lens for my DSLR, for both I'd put in some money myself to not be a prick and just ask for price-y gifts.. As I haven't had time to play the games on the consoles I already have, I decided I'd rather have a good lens. It was time to finally put my DSLR, Sony Alpha77 into good use.

Yosuke sai paljon autoja joululahjaksi! :D

Jokin muukin on uutta. Sain (pää)joululahjani aikaisin. Vanhempani kysyivät mitä haluaisin jouluksi. Minulla oli kaksi vaihtoehtoa, Playstation4 Pro tai sitten uusi objektiivi järjestelmäkameraani, molemmista toki maksaisin osani. Koska en ole ehtinyt pelaamaan pelejä jo omistamillani konsoleilla, päätin, että olisi järkevämpää ostaa uusi objektiivi. Nyt on viimein aika ottaa kaikki irti järjestelmäkamerastani, Sony Alpha77'sta.

Fox Cub in the Snow - 21 December

Ok, I've neglected the Advent calendar yet again... It can't be helped, too busy before Christmas.

Now I had to sit down for awhile and drink some tea. I had these pictures edited and ready to post so I thought I'd post these wintery pictures of Feni, my little Soom Teenie Gem Feny fox cub.

---

Happy Fennec Christmas!! - 15 & 16 December

Failing to keep up with the pace of this Advent Calendar, but still trying to hold on to it! :D Here's my Hujoo Penny-fennec doll enjoying some Christmassy vibes.
I realized I haven't named him/her yet...

---

Happy Birthday 2016, Ciel Phantomhive! - 14 December

Ok this post comes a day late but whatever. I did this once before in 2013. If I'll continue the tradition of these Advent calendars, I'd like to make this a re-occurring thing, to celebrate Ciel's birthday every year on 14th of December... even after only a few remember this character. :D

Anyway, here's something that I ordered for myself for Christmas. Some of you might remember that I got myself a Real Action Heroes Sebastian from our trip to Japan in 2015. While that figure is cool in itself, the character that I actually like in Kuroshitsuji is Ciel Phantomhive. I tried to resist this RAH Ciel, but Figuya only had one left so...

---

Saint Lucy's Day - 13 December

Today is Saint Lucy's memorial day, or Santa Lucia's Day as she is more widely known here in the Northern countries. It's a day that celebrates light conquering darkness and hope overcoming hopelessness and despair. Read more about it in my Advent Calendar post from the year 2013.

---

Tänään on Lucian päivä.

Risa's Army of Santas - 12 December

"Yessss my army, together we shall rule! First North Pole, then the whole world!"

Today we found out yet another thing about Risa. She clearly has delusions of grandeur...

---

"Kyllä, minun joukkoni, yhdessä saavutamme vallan! Tänään Korvatunturi, huomenna koko maailma!!"

Tänään opimme taas jotain uutta Risasta. Hänellä on selkeästi suuruudenhulluja harhaluuloja itsestään...

Reindeer Games - 11 December

...although that traditional nordic Christmas decoration is not a reindeer but, in fact, a ram made of straw.

...Risa truly seems to be stealing the show of this Advent Calendar. :D

---

...vaikkakin tuo onkin olkipukki eikä poro.

...Risa näyttää kyllä nyt varastavat ihan koko joulukalenteri-shown. :D
