Winter isn't my favorite time of the year but I quess seasonal dolly-piccies make it more tolerable... or do they?
At least Remy here seems to have a hoot with what little snow we have in Southern Finland. When I first started taking doll pics I thought one of the most fun things would be to document the changing of seasons through doll-photography. Well, nowadays I'm often too lazy to get myself outside with a doll and a heavy camera, but after this shoot I think I should do it more often.
...even though it was so cold that I only got a couple of post-worthy pics (the others were too blurry due to my hands shaking from the cold. >.< ).

Talvi ei ole suosikkivuodenaikani, mutta vuodenaika-nukkekuvat tekevät siitä luultavasti helpomman sietää... vai tekevätkö ne?
Ainakin Remy tässä näyttää saavan kicksejä siitä vähäisestä lumesta mitä Etelä-Suomessa tällä hetkellä on. Kun aloitin ottaman nukkekuvia, tuumin että yksi hauskimmista asioista olisi vuodenaikojen ja sesonkien vaihtumisen kuvaainen nukkekuvien välityksellä. No, nykyisin olen yleensä liian laiska raahautumaan ulos nuken ja painavan kameran kanssa, mutta näiden kuvien ottamisen jälkeen tuli sellainen olo että ehkä sitä pitäisi kuitenkin tehdä useammin.
...vaikka olikin niin kylmä että pelkästään muutama kuva on postaamiskelpoisia (muut tärähtivät koska käteni tärisivät kylmästä niin pahasti. >.< )

I've slightly changed Xavier's style again. Isn't it funny how on some dolls there's a set style straight from the beginning while others keep changing styles all the time?
I'm really liking these limited color wigs I received from Leeke, the Mystery Black is really pretty, finally a color that looks good on Xav! I got tired of trying to decide what color of eyes I'd try to force on Xav this time, and went with my favorite eye-color, purple.
I really love Xav's profile and I think that emo-style strands over one eye (and a ponytail!) is his trademark. ;) He looks best like that with every wig.

Muutin taas Xavierin tyyliä hiukan. Eikö olekin hassua, miten joillekin nukeille muodostuu heti alusta jokin tietty pysyvä tyyli ja sitten toisilla tyylit vaihtelevat?
Tykkään tosi paljon näistä uusista limited-värisistä peruukeista jotka tulivat Leekeltä, Mystery Black on tosi kaunis, ja viimeinkin väri joka tuntuu sopivat Xaville! Väsyin pohtimaan minkä väriset silmät yritän pakottaa Xaville tällä kertaa ja menin helpoimman kautta; lempiväriseni violetit silmät sen olla pitää!
Xavin profiili on minusta hieno ja luulen että tuo emomainen hiukset toisen silmän päällä-tyyli (+ poninhäntä) on Xavin tuotemerkki koska jätkä näyttää parhaalta kaikissa peruukeissa siten. ;3
It's been a while since I've last photographed Xav, my first ball jointed doll. While taking these pics a thought came to my mind about a series of posts, each "introducing" my dolls one at a time. I'd like to write about the good and bad points of that doll, and what thoughts the character rises in me. Would you like to read posts like that or do you think that the doll-profiles (that I should update again soon) are sufficient enough? :3

Onkin jo vähän aikaa siitä kun viimeksi kuvailin Xavia, esikoisBJD-nukkeani. Näitä kuvia ottaessa tuli mieleen, että haluaisin tehdä sarjan postauksia, joissa "esiteltäisiin" nukkeni jokainen vuodollaan. Haluaisin kirjoittaa nuken hyvistä ja huonoista puolista ja mitä ajatuksia niiden hahmot minussa herättävät.
