Today is the Finnish Indepence Day!

I'm always scratching my head over what to post on Independence day, but my sister helped me today coming up with the idea. It's a still life with all kinds of blue and white things and toys.

Hyvää itsenäisyyspäivää kaikille!

Minusta on aina haasteellista keksiä jotain postattavaa itsenäisyyspäivänä, mutta tänä vuonna siskoni auttoi keksimään idean. Kuten kuvasta näkyy, kyseessä on asetelma sinivalkoisia juttuja tai siis lähinnä leluja.

So yeah, this year is drawing to its conclusion. It's time to look back at what happened in this hobby for me during 2014. (I feel like it was just a little while ago I did this for the year 2013! It's scary how time flies!)

Advent Calendar Doors 23 & 24 - Yay it's Christmas!

The conclusion of the Spicasmagoria advent calendar comes a day late... I wanted to keep good family-relations so I didn't open my computer on Christmas Eve or the day before. That's why you get the last doors and my Christmas wishes now. ;)

Spicasmagorian joulukalenterin versio 2014 loppuluukut tulevat päivän myöhässä... halusin säilyttää hyvät välit perheeseen joten en sitten avannut konetta jouluaattona enkä aatonaattona. Siksi saatte loput luukut ja jouluntoivotukset näin joulupäivänä. ;)

Dollymeet and new looks (A.K.A. random picture dump!)

I was out of good title-ideas, sorry.

I hosted a small dollymeet among friends a little while ago. And got my part from Fyrd's and my Taobao order (and Spite&Malice and Mako Eyes orders too! Woo!) home at the meet! Of course I had to try the stuff I got for my incoming gray little Teenie Gem Skoll on Carbon. Skoll is going to get the wig, fox-mask and boots. I'm changing my original plan of Skoll being a horned little bat-child and now he's a little fox-wolf-thing and I've come up with a name for him! He's going to be called Schadenfreude.

I'm liking this style actually more than I thought I would! Carbon looks like a J-rocker with Skoll I mean Schadenfreude's stuff.

En jaksanut keksiä mitään nasevaa otsikkoa, sori.

Luonani oli pikkuinen nukkemiitti ystävien kesken vähän aikaa sitten. Miitissä sain myös minun osuuteni Fyrdin ja minun Taobao-tilauksesta (ja Spite&Malice sekä Mako Eyes kimpoista myös! Jee!) kotiin! Olihan sitä sitten pakko kokeilla tulevan harmaan pienen Teenie Gem Skollin juttuja Carbonille.
Skoll saa siis tuon peruukin, kettunaamion ja saappaat. Muutan hiukan alkuperäistä suunnitelmaani Skollista pikku lepakkolapsena ja nyt siitä tulee sitten joku kettu-susi-asia. Ja nimikin on jo keksitty! Siitä tulee Schadenfreude, joka tarkoittaa vahingoniloa saksaksi.

Itseasiassa tykkään tästä tyylistä jopa enemmän kuin odotin! Carbon näyttää ihan J-rokkarilta Skollin eikun Schadenfreuden kamppeet yllään.

Honestly I don't know where that prince-thing came, but it seems so fitting with that DollHearts clothing set. x'D With this outfit on, Lucky seemed to start and act all arrogant and cocky like a little prince. Maybe I will call him with the subtitle Bird Prince from now on.

En tosiaankaan tiedä mistä nyt nykäisin tuon prinssi-jutun, mutta se tuntuu sopivan DollHearts-asusetin kanssa. x'D Lucky tuntui alkavan heti käyttäytyä heti hieman ylpeästi saatuaan tuon asun päälleen, ihan kuin pieni prinssi. Ehkäpä hänen tittelinsä on sitten Lintuprinssiksi tästä lähtien.

Lucky Bird flies home! - Soom Lucky box-opening Part01

Welcome to the Lucky -box opening part 1!
It's been almost a year since I got my last Teenie Gem, Feny (and Necy surprise head).

I love Soom's neat cardboard boxes. For some reason, the Soom-logo has really caught my eye. I'd love to get a T-shirt with it. It reminds me of the times when I just browsed Soom's website and wondered if I'd ever own a doll from them.

Viime Teenie Gem-boksinavauksesta onkin melkein vuosi aikaa, syksyllä kotiutui Feny (ja Necy surprise pää).

Tykkään hirmuisesti Soomin siistinnäköisistä pahvilaatikoista. Tuo Soom-logo on myös kovasti mieleen. Haluaisin T-paidan jossa olisi tuo logo. Se muistuttaa minua ajoista jolloin vain selailin Soomin sivuja ja pohdiskelin että tulenkohan koskaan omistamaan yhtään nukkea heiltä.
