Kikucon 2014 Day Two!! With a Special Trip Down the Memory Lane!

Part two of the Kiku-convention post! The second day of the convention started for me and Yumeka with the badge-workshop. Fortunately they had badge- and pixel-workshops on both days so even if we missed out on them on day one we managed to squeeze in on day two!

Kikucon-postauksen toinen osa! Conin toinen päivä alkoi minun ja Yumekan osalta rintanappi-työpajalla. Kiva kun rintanappi- ja pikselipajoja oli molempina päivinä niin päästiin sentään jälkimmäisenä päivänä vaikka ekana päivänä paikat oli varattu.

Here comes the promised convention report of Kikucon 2014 at the Turku Klassikko highschool, part one!
Me and Yumeka mostly hung out with Fyrd8th, Dark and Tiirikka at the con and it was so much fun! The con was smaller than some of the other cons I've been to, but that made it feel a lot cozier. Here's a pic of Fyrd8th's namesake doll Fyrd and Yumeka on... what seems to be date? Or are the two planning for world domination!? I thought that Yumeka is my only doll who's innocently happy and cheerful all the time, but maybe she's just a good pretender?  O.o

Tässä tulee lupailtu coniraportti Kikucon 2014'sta, ensimmäiseltä päivältä!
Minä ja Yumeka hengailtiin conissa Fyrd8th, Darkin ja Tiirikan kanssa ja oli kyllä tosi hauskaa! Con oli pienempi kuin missä olen yleensä tottunut käymään, mutta se teki tunnelmasta vain mukavamman ja kotoisamman.
Tässä kuva Fyrd8th'n Fyrd-nukesta ja Yumekasta, näyttävät ihan siltä kuin olisivat treffeillä, haha! Vai suunnittelevatkohan ne maailman valloitusta? Luulin että Yumeka on ainoa viattoman iloinen ja pirteä nukkeni, mutta ehkäpä ulkoasu hämää ja hän onkin vain salakavalasti hyvä esittämään sellaista? O.o

We're going to a local convention, Kikucon with Yumeka tomorrow! The venue is at my former highschool, so I'm kind of visiting the past too. I had the best time in highschool so I have good memories from that time and place.
So excited, I love the con-atmosphere! :3 You can expect a convention-report sometime after the weekend.

Olemme Yumekan kanssa menossa Kikuconiin Turussa huomenna, tulkaa ihmeessä moikkaamaan jos törmätään! Olen itse käynyt Turun Klassikossa lukioni, joten tämä on omalta osalta vierailu menneisyyteen myöskin. Lukiossa oli just parasta, joten minulla on kosolti hyviä muistoja siitä ajasta ja paikasta.

お友達 ~Friends~ 夢花のアドベンチャー 第一巻

 My shipment from Mandarake Complex Akihabara that I mentioned in this post came safely home, despite my nervousness! :D 

I'm always super-nervous when ordering from a place I've never ordered from before and especially if something that I really, truly desire is being shipped.

It took about two weeks for my parcel to reach me and I guess it would have been even faster if not for the Easter holidays and for the delay due to the customs office ordeal. But yeah, I'm very pleased with the service from Mandarake and will buy from them again in the future! 

In fact, I'll make a review post of ordering from there, because I would have found one very useful when I was ordering. (now I can give special thanks to Nolluska at our local dolly-forums for answering my questions on payment confirmation and other things.)

Pakettini Mandarake Complex Akihabarasta, jonka mainitsin tässä postauksessa, saapui turvallisesti kotiin huolimatta kaikesta hermoilustani! :D

Olen aina ihan super-hermostunut, kun tilaan jotakin paikasta josta en ole aiemmin tilannut ja etenkin jos tilattu asia on sellainen mitä ihan tosissani haluan.

Lähetys kesti parisen viikkoa ennen kuin pääsi huomaani ja olisi varmaan tullut nopeamminkin, jos välissä ei olisi ollut pääsiäislomia ja tullia. Mutta jes, olen hyvin tyytyväinen Mandaraken palveluun ja ostan sieltä vielä uudestaankin varmasti!

Itseasiassa suunnittelin tekeväni Mandarakelta tilaamisesta arviointi-suosittelu-neuvontapostauksen jossain vaiheessa, koska itse olisin kaivannut sellaista tilausta tehdessäni. Nyt voin antaa erityiskiitoksen Nolluskalle, joka vastaili kysymyksiini! Kiitos! :)
