Happy (although a bit belated) Valentine's Day everyone! Spica here, writing from Lahti, Finland, where we are about to attend Desucon Frostbite - a winter anime convention - tomorrow with my friend! Just had to pop here to make a quick late-night post to show off my newest doll! Fyrd offered her Volks Kun for sale and I jumped at the chance. I've always wanted to own a Volks doll, but I've never really had the chance until now.
She's (he´s?) not some special super-expensive limited Volks doll, but it doesn't matter to me~ I wonder why I haven't noticed the potential in Kun before, the sculpt is really pretty and versatile.
I'm not really sure about who she/he will be, and what kind of a style she'll/he'll eventually have, but I just threw something on her/him that seemed to fit. Not sure about the blue wig either but it was one of the few wigs that I have, that was big enough for her/his head.
I'll post a proper "box-opening" of Kun later! Just gotta love that doll in every way! ^3^

Hyvää (joskin hieman myöhästynyttä) ystävänpäivää kaikille! Spica täällä, kirjoittelen Lahdesta, jonne tulimme ystäväni kanssa osallistuaksemme huomenna Desucon Frostbiteen! Oli vain pakko pistää äkkiä postaus uusimmasta nukestani! Fyrd oli myymässä Volks Kun-nukeaan joten tartuin tilaisuuteen. Olen aina halunnut omistaa Volks-nuken mutta aiemmin ei ole ollut oikein tilaisuutta siihen.
Kun ei ole mikään superkallis limited malli, mutta se ei minua haittaa~ Ihmetyttää vain, miksi en ole aiemmin huomannut sitä potentiaalia mitä Kunissa on, sculpt on tosi kaunis ja monipuolinen.
En ole varma kuka hän on vielä, enkä edes ole saanut selville nuken tyyliäkään, mutta laitoin hänelle päälle vähän sitä sun tätä mikä näytti sopivan. Myöskin sininen peruukki on aika yllätysheitto, koska se oli niitä ainoita peruukkeja joita minulla on ja jotka mahtuvat tämän nuken isohkoon päähän! :'D
Postaan myöhemmin myös kunnon "boksinavauspostauksen" Kunista! Koska kyseessä on täysin rakastettava nukke, kaikin tavoin! ^3^

Just a little something for the Desucon-theme! I used to read Otomen-manga a couple of years ago but then got bored of it. Now, I found the first volumes while cleaning my room and started reading... and got immediately hooked again! I had to go and buy the volumes I hadn't read and pick up where I left off. Coincidentally the 11t volume had a story with a Valentine's Day -theme! Perfect! :3
I was about to write a bit of a review about this manga, but maybe I'll leave it for later because I have to wake up early tomorrow for the convention! But, Otomen is a really entertaining manga, you should go read it (maybe buy it at the con, eh? ;)

Vähän jotakin Desucon-teemaan sopivaa! Luin Otomen mangaa muutama vuosi sitten aika innokkaastikin mutta sitten kyllästyin siihen. Nyt löysin siivojen yhteydessä pari pokkaria ja aloin lukea... ja pam! jäin taas koukkuun! Oli sitten pakko rynnätä ostamaan puuttuvia osia ja jatkaa siitä mihin jäin. Olipa sattuma että 11:sta osassa oli tarina ystävänpäivä-teemalla! Loistavaa! :3
Oli tarkoituksena kirjoittaa pidempi esittely tästä mangasta, mutta se jääköön myöhemmäksi ajankohdaksi, koska täytyy herätä huomenna ajoissa coneilemaan! Mutta, Otomen on tosi viihdyttävä manga, mene ja lue! (ehkäpä jopa voit ostaa sen jos olet tulossa coniin huomenna? ;)
