Spooky (Post-)Halloween Monster Tag

Safir tagged me to do this fun blog tag. I wanted to do it before Halloween but just didn't have the time. I'll add in some of the pictures I took at the Halloween dollmeet last weekend. I don't have enough to say about the Halloween meet to make a separate post and to be honest I just want to get these Halloween posts out of the way to be able to do something else. :'D

Safir antoi minulle tämän hauskan blogihaasteen. Tarkoituksenani oli tehdä se ennen Halloweenia, mutta minulla ei ollut sittenkään aikaa siihen.
Tagin kuvituksena joitakin ottamiani kuvia Halloween-nukkemiitistä viime viikonlopulta. Tarkoituksenani oli tehdä jonkinlainen miittipostaus, mutta totesin että isken nyt nämä Halloween-postaukset yhteen niin saan ne pois alta päästäkseni tekemään jotain muuta. :'D

Postauksen lopussa jonkinlainen pieni ruodinta miitistä.

The Day I Fell in Love with Picco Neemos (or a second mini dollymeet...)

It was a week ago and I only have crappy pics to prove it, but we had another fun dolly minimeet with Safir, Poara, Tiinyan and a new addition to our gang, Elina!
Sadly Sarg was ill so she couldn't make it to the meet. :c Hope to see you next time! ^^

This time I took my Dollfie Dream Yumeka with me and she met with Poara's DD Momoko for the first time! I hope we can take better photos of the two some time. :3 The mini dolls are Safir's Azone Picco Neemos and ahh, they were SO cute. ;__;
Now I know I HAVE to get myself a Picco Neemo, sniff. I thought they would feel more fragile to the touch but they are actually really fun and sturdy to pose.

Siitä onkin jo viikko ja todisteena vain huonona kuvia, mutta meillä oli taas pieni mutta sitäkin hauskempi nukkemiitti Safirin, Janinan, Tiinyanin ja uuden ystävän, Elinan kanssa! Harmi että Sarg oli kipeänä, joten hän ei päässyt miittiin. :c Toivottavasti nähdään ensi kerralla! ^^

Tällä kertaa mukanani oli Dollfie Dream Yumeka ja hän pääsi tapaamaan ensimmäistä kertaa Janinan DD'a Momokoa! Toivottavasti saamme joskus otettua näistä kahdesta yhteiskuvia paremmissa kuvausolosuhteissa. Pikkuruiset nuket Dollfie Dreamien sylissä ovat Safirin Azone Picco Neemoja ja ahh kun ne olivat söpösiä. ;__; Nyt tiedän että Picco Neemo on PAKKO saada, sniff. Luulin että ne tuntuisivat käsissä heiveröisemmiltä, mutta ne ovatkin itseasiassa tosi hauskoja ja ihan jämäköitä poseerattavia.

Most of the time was spent at a chinese restaurant (they didn't bring the cheque and we sat there and chatted for a long time we had finished eating... I guess they didn't dare to intervene in our discussions about removing doll eyes and refridgerating heads... x'''D ).

We had the intention to go to a café afterwards and take some dollypics there... but alas as it was sunday, all the cafés closed early so we arranged the dolls on some table that we found in a corner at the shopping mall and took some photos quickly before the guards shooed us away. :'D (heh, no it wasn't forbidden to take doll photos at the mall... we just stayed there a bit over the closing time that's all. )

Minun versioni nukkemiitistä Safirin, Sargin, Janinan ja Tiinyanin kanssa! Oli ihan parasta ^3^/ Oli niin kiva nähdä teitä kaikkia ja jutustella kaikenlaisesta! Kiitos paljon ja ensi kertaan! :33

Suurin osa ajasta vierähti kiinalaisessa ravintolassa (eivät tulleet tuomaan laskuja... meillä oli kai liian pelottavat keskustelut nukkesilmien irrottamisesta ja päiden pakastamisesta ja kaikesta sen sellaisesta kivasta x''DD ).
Meillä oli tarkoituksena mennä sitten sen jälkeen kahvilaan napsimaan nukkekuvia mutta ei muistettukaan että sunnuntaina kahvilat meneekin kiinni aikaisemmin... Pistettiin sitten nuket istuksimaan jollekin pöydälle jonka löysimme ostoskeskuksen nurkasta ja napsimme äkkiä muutamat kuvat ennenkuin vartijat tulivat hätyyttämään meitä pois.

Heh... ja ei, siellä ei ollut kiellettyä kuvata nukkeja, olimme vaan vartijoiden riesaksi hiukan sulkemisajan yli.

Advent Calendar Door 02 - Christmas Dollymeet

Our local Finnish doll forum had a Christmas dollymeet last weekend and Xavier (Dikadoll Autumn), Mr.Lapin (Soom Mad Hatter), Floyd (Soom Bygg)and I went there to meet some friends. Xavier was especially happy because he received a Christmas card from an admirer! :33

Dollymeet and new looks (A.K.A. random picture dump!)

I was out of good title-ideas, sorry.

I hosted a small dollymeet among friends a little while ago. And got my part from Fyrd's and my Taobao order (and Spite&Malice and Mako Eyes orders too! Woo!) home at the meet! Of course I had to try the stuff I got for my incoming gray little Teenie Gem Skoll on Carbon. Skoll is going to get the wig, fox-mask and boots. I'm changing my original plan of Skoll being a horned little bat-child and now he's a little fox-wolf-thing and I've come up with a name for him! He's going to be called Schadenfreude.

I'm liking this style actually more than I thought I would! Carbon looks like a J-rocker with Skoll I mean Schadenfreude's stuff.

En jaksanut keksiä mitään nasevaa otsikkoa, sori.

Luonani oli pikkuinen nukkemiitti ystävien kesken vähän aikaa sitten. Miitissä sain myös minun osuuteni Fyrdin ja minun Taobao-tilauksesta (ja Spite&Malice sekä Mako Eyes kimpoista myös! Jee!) kotiin! Olihan sitä sitten pakko kokeilla tulevan harmaan pienen Teenie Gem Skollin juttuja Carbonille.
Skoll saa siis tuon peruukin, kettunaamion ja saappaat. Muutan hiukan alkuperäistä suunnitelmaani Skollista pikku lepakkolapsena ja nyt siitä tulee sitten joku kettu-susi-asia. Ja nimikin on jo keksitty! Siitä tulee Schadenfreude, joka tarkoittaa vahingoniloa saksaksi.

Itseasiassa tykkään tästä tyylistä jopa enemmän kuin odotin! Carbon näyttää ihan J-rokkarilta Skollin eikun Schadenfreuden kamppeet yllään.

Spica goes Desucon Frostbite 2014! *serious fangirling ahead*

Wow! I had such a good time at Desucon Frostbite last weekend! It was easily the best convention I've been to in a long, long time. Cosplayers were awesome, people were all super-nice and well-behaved, the programme was interesting, we had a doll-meet with the grown-up gang from our local Pullip forum and I did lots of shopping, more than I could carry myself! That's what I call a weekend well spent! :3

...oooh, and we had some super-delicious food as well (not counting the minor food-poisoning probably I had from thai-food on sunday, though...).
Let's go straight (?) to the photos I took at the con and I'll blabber something random during the pic roll, ok? OK!

BTW, if you happen to find yourself in these pictures, please notify me! I really loved all these cosplays and it would be nice to get in touch with all of you~

Vau! Minulla oli tosi kivaa Desucon Frostbitessa viime viikonloppuna! Se oli kyllä ehdottomasti paras con missä olen ollut pitkään, pitkään aikaan. Cosplayaajat olivat mahtavia, kaikki ihmiset olivat ihan super-ystävällisiä ja hyvin käyttäytyviä, ohjelma oli kiinnostavaa, meillä oli Pullip Suomi-foorumin aikuismiitti ja shoppasin enemmän kuin jaksoin kantaa! Siinä vasta onnistunut viikonloppu. :3

Käytiin syömässä myös tosi hyvää ruokaa (en nyt laske sunnuntain pientä ruokamyrkytystä jonka sain todennäköisesti thai-ruoasta...).

Muuten, jos sinä joka luet tätä satut löytämään itsesi näistä kuvista, niin olethan kiva ja ilmoittele itsestäsi kommenttiboksissa! Kaikki nämä cossit olivat minusta tosi hienoja, joten olisi mahtia kuulla teistä lisää! :3

I'm usually very shy about asking to take photos of people in cosplays, but for some reason this time was different! Maybe it was because there were so many cosplays from the characters I love?

This awesome Noiz (from DRAMAtical Murder)-cosplayer was the first I asked for a photo. I was going through the doujinshi-sales person's DRAMAtical Murder-doujinshi-stash when this cosplayer came to the doujinshi booth and I just had to ask for a pic of her! I think she looks a lot like the character she's cosplaying and I really liked the details in the outfit. This was the first Dmmd-cosplay I've seen in Finland with my own eyes so I was thrilled!

Olen yleensä tosi ujo kysymään ihmisiltä lupaa ottaa kuvaa heidän cosplaystaan, mutta tällä kertaa se oli tosi helppoa! Ehkäpä siksi että paikalla oli niin paljon ihmisiä jotka cossasivat lempparihahmojani?

Tämä aivan mahtava Noiz (DRAMAtical Murderista)-cossaaja oli ensimmäinen jolta kysyin lupaa kuvaan. Olin juuri penkomassa doujinshi-sedän myyntikojulla DRAMAtical Murder-doujinsheja, kun tämä cossaaja tuli paikalle ja oli ihan pakko pyytää kuvaa! Minusta todella sopiva henkilö Noiz-cossiin, yhdennäköisyys on tosi hyvä ja tykkään kovasti kaikista kivoista yksityiskohdista asussa. Tämä oli myös ensimmäinen Suomessa näkemäni Dmmd-cossi joten siksikin merkillepantava! ;-)

Remus Lupin and Sirius Black, my fav characters from Harry Potter (aside from Snape! Talking about Snape... I haven't seen any Snape cosplays in a looong time...)! A really great cosplay-pair and they even had the Marauder's Map as a prop! *fangirls*

Another awesome cosplay-pair; Tintin and Captain Haddock! Loving the creativity these two showed! This goes to show that a cosplay doesn't necessarily have to be spot-on to original character designs, Tintin can have stretching plugs in his/her ears and it can still be perfect!

Saved the best for the last! :3 I was so excited to see a DRAMAtical Murder cosplay-group! From right to left; Clear, Aoba, Koujaku and Noiz.
They had just entered Sibelius Hall where the con was held and I pleaded for them to come outside again so that I could take better pictures in natural light! I'm surprised that they said yes, thank you so much and sorry about the inconvenience! ^3^

Wanted to hug Koujaku, but didn't have to guts to ask... ^^;;; I must have seemed really intimidating, ehehe.

Sokerina pohjalla DRAMAtical Murder cosplay-ryhmä! :3 Olin ihan pähkinöinä kun huomasin tämän porukan! Oikealta vasemmalle katsottuna; Clear, Aoba, Koujaku ja Noiz.
Ryhmä oli juuri tullut sisälle Sibeliustaloon kun havaitsin heidät ja pyysin uudestaan ulos että saisin parempia kuvia luonnonvalossa. Olin iloinen että he suostuivat, kiitos niin paljon ja anteeksi häiriö! ^3^

Olisin halunnut halata Koujakua, mutta en kehdannut pyytää... ^^;;; Vaikutin varmaan jo muutenkin tosi pelottavalta. eheheh.

Then it's time to calm down and stare at the alpaca... no, more cosplay! I didn't get any good pictures of the Nordic Cosplay Championship Finnish preliminary competition because it was dark, but I'm sure you can find some pics of them if you google a bit. All of the contestants were really great and this year it seemed to be a big hit to have some kind of lighting-special effects on the dresses and on stage.

I liked the Vocaloid Mayu cosplay the best, and can't stop listening to 嘘とぬいぐるみ
(Uso to Nuigurumi, Lies and a Stuffed Animal) now!

Sitten rauhoitutaan taas ja katsotaan alpakkaa... eikun lisää cosplayta! En saanut oikein hyviä kuvia Nordic Cosplay Championshipin Suomen karsinnasta, koska salissa oli niin pimeää, mutta olen varma että googlaamalla löydätte kuvia siitä. Kaikki kilpailijat olivat tosi hyviä, tänä vuonna vaikutti olevan myös kovassa huudossa erikoisvaloefektit puvuissa ja lavalla muutenkin.

Taisin tykätä eniten Vocaloid Mayu -cosplaysta ja nyt en voi lakata kuuntelemasta 嘘とぬいぐるみ (Uso to Nuigurumi, Valheita ja pehmoeläin.)-kappaletta!

And talking about dollies... At the con, we finally managed to have a meet for us adult hobbyists at a Finnish Pullip-forum! My camera didn't take well the dimly-lit meeting room, so this group-shot of all the dolls in the meet is the only one I'll post.
But you can see better pics in these posts by other members; from Rana , from Turre and from Zelman. ((These blogs are only in Finnish, but you can still admire the pretty photos, eh? :))

In this pic, the dolls marked with tiny little pink paw-prints are mine; Soom Necy (Remy), Dikadoll AAAAA (Ritsuka) on the left corner and Pure Neemo Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi on the right corner with a cat- ear band.

It was really fun to meet other hobbyists, chat about dolly-stuff and admire beautiful dolls! Everyone was very kind and I'm really looking forward to meeting them again! This was the first time I saw Blythe-dolls in real life and now I know must get one sometime in the future! They are really cute~

Conissa meillä oli viimein tilaisuus pitää aikuismiitti Pullip Suomelaisten kesken! Kamerani ei nauttinut miittitilan hämärästä valaistuksesta, joten tämä ryhmäkuva on ainoa jonka postaan tällä erää. Voitte käydä katsomassa parempia kuvia miitistä Ranan blogista , Turren blogista ja Zelmanin blogista. ((jos en maininnut jonkun blogia tässä ja teit postauksen miitistä, niin ilmoita kommenteissa kaikin mokomin, liitän sinut mukaan!!))

Tämä oli eka kerta kun näin Blythe-nukkeja luonnossa, ja nyt täytyy myöntää että sellainen pitänee joskus hankkia itsellenikin. Olivat vaan sen verran suloisia tapauksia~

A view on the Narrative Aspects in DRAMAtical Murder by Aino Tegelman.

On sunday it was time for the well-awaited part in the programme - a DRAMAtical Murder lecture about the narratives in the game by Aino Tegelman. I really enjoyed this lecture, although I didn't quite agree with all the points in it. It was very entertaining though. :3

I'm surprised that this much Finnish hobbyists have found DRAMAtical Murder already, about a year ago I think there were hardly any cosplayers nor lectures on Dmmd at Finnish convetions (to my knowledge anyway). Maybe this has something to do with the fan-subbed English patch to the game? Before the English patch was done, there were a couple of us Western Nitro+Chiral fans online who had played Dmmd in Japanese.

Sunnuntaina oli vuorossa ainakin minun kovasti odottamani osa ohjelmaa - DRAMAtical Murder luento Aino Tegelmanin pitämänä. Pidin luennosta kovasti, vaikka en ihan kaikista siinä esille nousseista pointeista ollutkaan samaa mieltä. Ohjelmanumero oli kuitenkin varsin viihdyttävä ja hyvin pidetty. :3

Olen aika yllättynyt, että melko moni suomalainen animeharrastaja on löytänyt DRAMAtical Murderin, noin vuosi sitten ja sitä ennen muistelisin että ei ollut juurikaan Dmmd-cossaajia tai Dmmd-aiheisia luentoja suomalaisissa coneissa (ainakaan minun tietääkseni..). Ehkäpä tällä on jotain yhteyttä siihen, että on julkaistu fanien kääntämä englanninkielinen subtitle-paketti peliin? Ennen fanikäännöstä meitä länsimaisia Nitro+Chiral faneja oli netissä muutamia, jotka olivat pelanneet Dmmd:tä japaniksi.

There was a Valentine's Day-themed competition at the end of the lecture as well. You had to come up with a catchy DRAMAtical Murder-themed one liner to hit on one (or more) of the characters in the game. A Mink cosplayer won with a clever; "Your place, my place or Platinum Jail?" :''D Fittingly the prize was a Mink-themed clear file.

I wonder if my camera was on acids or is this blurryness a nod to the Mink-route in the game? ;''D

Luennon lopussa oli vielä ystävänpäivä-teemainen kisailu, jossa piti keksiä DRAMAtical Murder aiheinen iskurepliikki. Mink-cossaaja voitti kisan nokkelalla "Teille, meille vai Platinum Jailiin?" -vedollaan. ;''D

Olikohan kamerani hapoissa vai onkohan tämä happoisuus viittaus Mink-routen tapahtumiin? ;''D

All in all, I got a lot of inspiration to begin cosplaying a new, learned about some new animes, manga and games that I wanna try out, got huge DRAMAtical Murder fangirling gears on once again and had the bestest of times!

Kokoavana pläjäyksenä, sain inspiraatiota aloittaa cossaamisen uudestaan, sain tietää uusista animeista, mangasta ja peleistä joita haluan kokeilla, pyöräytin taas vaihteeksi DRAMAtical Murder-fanityttöily-vaihteen päälle ja vietin mitä parhainta aikaa!

For Auld Lang Syne!

I had Fyrd8th, Tiirikka and Dark over yesterday for a private doll meet and they helped me get this fellow together. (Thank you guys! I had great fun <3 ) :-) I never would have managed it on my own, since this bunny was strung real tight!

He's handsome but isn't completely without flaws - his thighs don't fit in their sockets which leaves the doll all wonky, especially when trying a standing pose. Oh, Soom... I'll have to find out where the problem lies, did I get the wrong kind of discet shaped parts that connect his tighs or if it is just a typical sculpt fail for all Mad Hatters and White Rabbits.

Eilen Fyrd8th, Tiirikka ja Dark olivat luonani kylässä yksityisnukkemiitissä ja ystävällisesti auttoivat minua saamaan tämän tyypin kokoon. (Kiitos, minulla oli tosi hauskaa! <3 :-) En olisi varmaan koskaan saanut yksikseni sitä tehtyä, koska pupu-ukkeli oli todella tiukassa narutuksessa!

Komea setä on hän, mutta ei täysin ilman puutteita - miehen reidet eivät oikein istu niille varattuun tilaan, mikä tekee nukesta letkuilevan, etenkin jos sitä yrittää asettaa seisomaan. Voi, Soom... Täytynee selvittää mistä ongelma johtuu, sainko vääränlaiset disketinmalliset palat, jotka yhdistävät reidet vartaloon, vai onko tämä vain tyypillinen sculptin feilausongelma joka on ominainen kaikille Mad Hattereille ja White Rabbiteille.

He's borrowing Arcady - My Soom Sweet Witch's wig... which actually was going to be HIS wig in the first place but...with dolls it doesn't always work the way you planned. Or it NEVER works the way you plan with dolls, more likely!

I'm thinking of a white or raven-black hair for him but we'll see... For the time being he's going to appear in borrowed stuff, until I get around ordering something for him. The eyes are the ones I intended for Bram, I actually have a pair of completely red eyes for Mad Hatter but I kinda like the way he looks with these. He looks so serene. :3

Hän lainaa Arcadyn eli Soom Sweet Witchini peruukkia, mutta katsotaan... Sen piti olla alunperin Mad Hatterin peruukki mutta... nukkien kanssa ei suunnitelmat aina toimi. Tai siis suunnitelmat ei koskaan toimi nukkien kanssa!

Suunnittelen tosin valkoista tai korpinmustaa peruukkia pupujätkälle. Vähään aikaan pupumies tulee esiintymään vain lainatavaroissa, siihen asti kun saan aikaiseksi tilattua jotakin omaa sille. Silmät ovat ne mitkä tarkoitin Bramille, minulla on Mad Hatterille täysin punaiset silmät varattuna mutta tykkään itseasiassa tästäkin lookista sillä. Hän näyttää niin seesteiseltä. :3

 

As you can see, it is not completely impossible to get him to stand on his own. :3 I'm in love with the bunnyfeet. Too bad the thighs are problematic since he'd definitely stand steady on this set of gigantic paws!

Inspired by the meet-pic I decided it was time for another group-pic of my Soomlings. My Teenies as of December 2013 (Ayato is missing though since Remy is borrowing his body!). I'm at a point where I think I might not "need" more Teenie Gems than I already have... but then I thought of a possible Soom Free Choice -event for Teenie Gems and if they offered Feny/Necy in grey or bronze/tan...

Sitten, miitti-kuvan inspiroimana päätin että oli uuden ryhmäkuvan aika pikku Soominkaisistani. Tässä siis Teenie Gemini joulukuussa 2013 (Ayato puuttuu koska Remy lainaa sen kroppaa). Luulen että olen keräilyssäni siinä pisteessä etten "tarvitse" enempää Teenieitä kuin mitä jo valmiiksi on... Mutta sitten tuli mieleeni jos Soom järjestäisi Free Choice eventin Teenie Gemeille ja jos tarjoaisivat Feny/Necy-sculptia harmaana tai bronze/tannina...

Luka: "Hei vaan! Spica otti meidät mukaan nukkemiittiin! Se sanoi että meidän pitää pukea ylle jotain jouluista, joten meni sitten ja iski päihimme tällaiset naurettavannäköiset hatut. En varmaan enää koskaan pysty katsomaan muita ihmissusia silmiin..."

Remy: "Minä tykkään piparkakuista! <3"

Luka: "...sinä se nyt tykkäät kaikesta syötävästä..."

Luka: "Would you care for an apple? I promise it is not poisonous. *wolfish smile*"

Spica: "Ok, eventhough I decided to let the dolls (and possibly figures) handle the Advent calendar this year, I'll probably butt in and explain somethings myself. You never know what these fellows come up with if I give the reins completely to them...

Luka has a new face-up by Fyrd8th, you haven't seen it before. Luka was in pieces (heh) and I put him together just so I could take him with me to the doll meet, since I knew Sazzer and her Soom Grey would be there. :3 Unfortunately we forgot to take pictures with the wolf-boys together, but I don't mind too much because it was so nice to chat with Sazzer!

So from now onwards I'll include some pics I took from the Christmas meet of the local BJD forum I'm a member of. I didn't take all that many pics, since I was a bit overwhelmed of it all! So much people, so many pretty dolls, so much delicious food! I was hardly able to concentrate enough to take these few snapshots. Too bad because there were some amazingly beautiful dolls there, I should have photographed more!
Oh well, there's always next time. I had great fun, though! :3

Luka: "Kelpaisiko omena? Lupaan että se ei ole myrkytetty. *susimainen hymy*"

Spica: "Okei, vaikka päätinkin että annan nukkien (ja luultavasti myös figujen) hoitaa tämän vuoden joulukalenteriosuuden, niin en malta olla tunkematta välillä aina höpisemään tänne itsekin.
Ei näistä hassulaisista aina tiedä mitä ne keksivät jos niille antaa liikaa valtaa...

Lukalla on uusi face-up Fyrd8th:ltä, ette ole nähneet sitä aiemmin, koska en ole ehtinyt valokuvata Lukaa. Luka-parka oli palasina ja laitoin hänet kasaan varta vasten miittiä ajatellen, koska Sazzer ja hänen Soom Greynsä olivat siellä myös. Harmillista kun ei ehditty ottaa yhdessä kuvia susipojistamme, mutta Sazzerin kanssa oli niin kiva jutustella että aika senkuin riensi. :3

Tästä eteenpäin liitän mukaan muutamia kuvia, joita otin Hartsilapset-foorumin pikkujoulumiitissä. En tosin ottanut ihan hirmuisesti kuvia, koska olin aika pyörällä päästäni miittivilinässä. Niin paljon ihmisiä, niin paljon kauniita nukkeja, niin paljon hyvää ruokaa! Hädin tuskin pystyin keskittymään tarpeeksi ottaakseni pari nopeaa kuvanraakiletta. Harmi vain kun siellä olisi ollut niin paljon ihania nukkeja, olisi pitänyt vaan malttaa kuvata enemmän!
No, aina on ensi kerta. Minulla oli tosi hauskaa kyllä! :3

My own dolls Soom Grey (Luka) and Necy surprise (Remy) were a bit shy but I think they played nicely with the other dolls.
Next time I'll have to remember to bring a doll stand for Luka, it was a pain to get him to sit straight on the slippery table... That's why he has an odd pose like that.

Luka: "...you just dumped us there and went off. Of course I didn't want to sit pretty when you had fun and left us there completely surrounded by a bunch of strangers! Hmph!"

Spica: "Are you intimidated by girls? :''D"

Remy: "That lady had a pretty pink hair and she was nice!"

Spica: "I hope you didn't bite her..."

Remy: "...just a little bit. She didn't even notice! :3 *proud of herself*"

Omat nukkeni Soom Grey (Luka) ja Necy surprise (Remy) olivat hiukan ujoja, mutta leikkivät kyllä kiltisti muiden nukkien kanssa.
Ensi kerralla pitää muistaa ottaa nukkeständi mukaan Lukaa varten, oli tosi hankalaa saada sitä istumaan liukkaalla pöydällä... siksi sillä on noin hassu asento.

Luka: "...sinä vaan hylkäsit meidät siihen ja lähdit litomaan. Tietenkään en halunnut istua nätisti kun sinä menit pitämään hauskaa ja jätit meidät vaan siihen kuin nallit kalliolle vieraiden tyyppien keskelle! Hmph!"

Spica: "Pelkäätkö sinä kenties tyttöjä? :''D"

Remy: "Tuo täti tuossa vieressä oli tosi kiva ja sillä oli nätit pinkit hiukset!"

Spica: "Toivottavasti et vain näykkinyt häntä..."

Remy: "...ihan hiukan vaan. Ei hän edes huomannut! :3 *ylpeä itsestään*"

Funny-looking little ones. <3 I want a reindeer-outfit like that for my Teenies! x3 So cute! This was the first time I saw an Enaïbi-doll in real life. (the little mousey standing in front of the sofa).

I'd very much like to own one of Enaïbi's dolls some day. They are costly, though, phew!

Hauskannäköisiä pikkuisia. <3 Haluan Teenieilleni tuollaisen poroasun myöskin! x3 Niin söpö! Näin ensikertaa luonnossa Enaïbin valmistaman nuken (pikkuinen hiirulainen seisomassa sohvan edessä).

Haluaisin joskus omistaa Enaïbi-nuken joskus. Ne ovat kyllä hirmuisen arvokkaita, huh!

The meet made it clear that female dolls are in the majority. I don't think there were too many big male dolls around? I spotted some MSDs and a couple of YO-SD boys, but just a couple of SD men.

Viereisellä pöydällä istuneita söpöliinejä.
Miitissä tuli tosi selkeästi esille että naisnuket ovat eniten suosiossa. Siellä ei ollut kovinkaan monta isoa miesnukkea tai en ainakaan nähnyt kuin ihan pari. MSD- ja YO-SD poikiakin oli vain muutamia.

And here she is! The first pic of my first SD-sized female doll, Arcady, Soom Sweet Witch by sculpt! <3 Even without eyes, her hair all disheveled, clothes quickly thrown on and a messy background... She's amazing!

I bought her from a fellow doll-hobbyist, Adamantine. I paid her off before the Christmas meeting and received her there. She's my first big girl and I don't have any stuff for SD girls, so I just had to throw something together and buy some wigs for her since I didn't want her to go around bald and naked at the meet. :''D
She came with a beautiful corset and a ruffled skirt with her, so she'll get to wear them soon when I get some ribbon with which to tie the corset on.

The wig is a Soom Migma full set wig I bought at the meet. Originally, Arcady was going to have black or purple hair, but I don't think auburn looks too bad for her either.

Arcady: "Who the heck are you?"

Ja tässä hän sitten on! Ensimmäiseni SD-kokoinen naisnukke, Arcady, moldiltaan Soom Sweet Witch. <3 Jopa ilman silmiä, hiukset ihan sekaisin, vaatteet äkkiä heitetty päälle ja epäsiistillä taustalla kuvattuna... Hän on ihmeellinen!

Ostin nuken Adamantinelta Hartsilapsista, maksoin nuken vikan erän ennen pikkujouluja ja sovittiin että saisin noutaa sen sieltä. Arcady on tosiaan ensimmäinen iso tyttöni, eikä minulla näin ollen ole mitään kampetta SD-tytöille, joten oli vaan pakko haalia kasaan jotakin päällepantavaa ja ostaa pari peruukkia, koska en halunnut että tyttö joutuisi olemaan miitissä kaljuna ja alastomana, rassukka. :'''D

Arcadyn mukana tuli kaunis korsetti sekä röyhelöhamonen, jotka hän saa ylleen heti kun hankin jostain ohutta silkkinauhaa korsetin sitomista varten. Peruukki on Soomin Migman full set peruukki, jonka ostin miitistä. Alunperin Arcadyllä piti olla mustat tai violetit hiukset, mutta ei tämä kullanruskeakaan pahalta näytä.

Arcady: "Ja kukas kumma se sinä sitten olet?"

 

As soon as we arrived home, I had to take a quick pic of Arcady. She seems a bit bewildered, I think she's still getting used to her new surroundings.

Handling an SD-sized girl feels really nice though. It's nothing like handling a 70 cm male doll, surprisingly! She has a feminine softness in her poses and although I've heard otherwise, it turns out that Soom's Super Gem body is definitely a much better poser than to what I'm used to with my big bulky Dika men.

I think I might have named her aptly, since she seems to have an aura of elegance and aristocracy around her. :3

Heti kun pääsimme kotiin oli pakko napata nopea pikakuva Arcadysta. Hän näyttää aika hämmentyneeltä, luulenpa että Arcady vasta totuttelee uuteen ympäristöön.

SD-kokoisen tyttönuken käsitteleminen tuntuu tosi kivalta! Ei lainkaan sellaiselta kuin 70 cm miesnukkien, mikä on minusta yllättävää! Odotin hassusti että iso nukke - samankaltainen fiilis. Arcadylla on kuitenkin posetuksessaan feminiinistä pehmeyttä ja vaikka olenkin kuullut muuta Soomin kehoista niin tämä Super Gem vartalo on kyllä paljon parempi posettaja kuin pökkelöt Dika-mieheni.

Luulenpa, että olen osannut nimetä Arcadyn melko sopivasti, koska hänestä suorastaan henkii eleganssi ja aristokraattinen aura. :3
