The Traveling Doll Visits Kilala!

 

As stated in the previous post, the traveling doll of our local Pullip Finland forum has already travelled on to the next host family but I'll still continue posting the remaining photos I have of here visit here!

 

There is a shop called Kilala in Helsinki that sells Groove Inc. dolls, clothes for them and accessories and also some cute Japan-stuff. We went for a shopping tour there!

Kuten aiemmin mainittua, Pullip Suomen matkanukke on jo jatkanut matkaansa täältä meiltä. Mutta laittelen tänne silti kuvia vielä sen visiitistä minun luonani!

 

 

Kävimme ostamassa matkanukelle vähän matkalaukun täydennystä Kilala-kaupasta Helsingistä. Kauppa on varmasti kaikkien Pullip-harrastajien tiedossa sillä siellä myydään nukkeja ja vaatteita sekä tavaroita niille. Lisäksi valikoimissa on kosolti söpöä Japani-tavaraa sekä joitakin japanilaisia karkkeja ja herkkuja. Käykääpä ihmeessä kurkistamassa, jos ette ole ennen käyneet. Kauppa löytyy osoitteesta Mannerheiminkatu 42 ja sinne pääsee helposti esimerkiksi raitiovaunulla.

 

More Traveling!

I accidentally posted this before although I didn't mean to! I started to write the draft at night and then I was going to save it, but it seems I accidentally pushed the 'Publish'-button. ^^;; I was afraid I'd do that at some point and now I did. Sorry for you guys who thought I had posted already!

But anyways, here are a few more pics I took of the traveling doll. The doll herself has already travelled on to the next person in line at the beginning of this week. She is at her current host right now. I still have lots and lots of pics of her that I have yet to post so you'll get to see her even though she's not here in person anymore. ;)

But with me, she visited the town of Turku, where I live. So, Turku Culture!

Oho, julkaisin aiemmin keskeneräisen postauksen vahingossa, vaikka ei ollut vielä tarkoitus julkistaa sitä! Aloitin postauksen tekemisen illalla ja tarkoitus oli jatkaa sitä myöhemmin, mutta olinkin ilmeisesti vahingossa painanut 'Julkaise'-namiskaa. ^^;; Arvasin, että näin kävisi vielä joskus!

Mutta, jokatapauksessa nyt seuraa siis vähän lisää kuvia, joita otin matkanukesta. Matkaaja itse on jo jatkanut kulkuaan seuraavaan osoitteeseen. Lähetin hänet matkaan tämän viikon alussa ja nukke taisi juuri tänään saapua uuteen paikkaan! Vielä on jäljellä paljon kuvia, joita en ole postannut vielä, joten tulette näkemään matkanukkea vaikka se ei enää täällä fyysisesti olekaan. ;)

Mutta minun luonani nukke pääsi kiertelemään vähän Turkua, joten: Turku kulttuuria!

Traveling Doll

Last year it was decided that we would hold a group project called the Traveling Doll at Pullip Finland forum. We bought a Pullip doll together and starting from the beginning of 2017 it'll visit everyone who wanted to participate in the project.

The idea is to take photos of the traveling doll while she's visiting you and at the end of her journey, we have a fun collection of pictures of her travels! When the project is completed, we'll draw lots to see who will win the doll and her garderobe.

Here our traveller waves at you from the Turku railway station!

Viime vuonna päätettiin järjestää Pullip Suomi-foorumilla yhteisprojekti Matkanukke. Ostimme yhdessä Pullip-nuken ja vuoden 2017 alusta lähtien se kiertää kaikkien niiden luona, jotka halusivat osallistua projektiin (ja kustannuksiin).

Ideana on se, että jokainen ottaa nukesta valokuvia, ja siten saadaan hauska kuvasarja nuken matkasta. Matkan lopuksi nukke ja sen tavarat arvotaan kaikkien osallistuneiden kesken.

Tässä matkaajamme tervehtää teitä Turun rautatieasemalta!

Happy Easter-time to everyone!

This Easterbunny or should I say Easter surprise arrived just in time for Easter. She's the traveling doll of our local Pullip Finland forum and now she's here for a visit!

I'll introduce her and the fun traveling doll project in the next post!
(Also; I edited some of the pictures in the last meet post as I noted they looked really dark on some computer screens. Now they should be a little bit lighter. I added one new pic of Feni too!)

Hauskaa pääsiäistä kaikille!

Tämä pääsiäispupu vai pitäisikö sanoa pääsiäisyllätys saapui luokseni juuri sopivasti pääsiäispyhiksi. Se on Pullip Suomi-foorumin matkustava nukke ja nyt täällä luonani visiitillä!

(Myöskin: Muokkasin hiukan viimeksi postatun miitti-postauksen kuvia, koska havaitsin, että ne näyttivät melko tummilta joiltakin tietokoneruuduilta katsottuna. Nyt niiden pitäisi olla hitusen valoisampia. Lisäsin myös yhden uuden kuvan Fenistä!)

Wonder what kind of a year 2017 will be? I have some plans that I'd like to share in this post!

The Year 2016 in Retrospect - Bye Bye Year of the Monkey!

Goku (Luts ZuZu Delf Mong) here is sad to see the year of the monkey go... and with just one photoshoot of himself! and those pictures are still yet to be posted somewhere

So we've reached this time again, the time to look back at what went on during the past year. I was in doll apathy at the end of 2015 so I didn't write a post about expectations for 2016. But I think my general idea was to tone my doll hobby down, I think.

Something happened during spring and I started getting more and more into dolls again. And now I'm as excited about the doll hobby as ever!

No niin taas ollaan päästy tähän pisteeseen - on aika luoda katse menneeseen ja vilkaista mitä tämän vuoden 2016 aikana onkaan tapahtunut harrastuksen saralla ja ehkä vähän muutenkin. Olin nukkeapatian pauloissa suurimman osan vuoden 2015 loppupuolta ja se jatkui osittain 2016 alkupuolellekin. En siis jaksanut oikein kirjoittaa mitään nukkeihin liittyviä odotuksia tälle vuodelle (harmi kyllä, niitä on aina hauska lukea jälkeenpäin...). Mutta oletan, että aikeenani oli vähentää nukkeostoksia. Miten siinä sitten kävi?

...no, jotakin tapahtui kevään aikana ja aloin pikkuhiljaa taas innostumaan nukeista. Nyt olen ihan yhtä nukkeinnostuksen pauloissa kuin aina ennenkin.

Only 363 Days Until Santa Comes Again!

I was meaning to post this on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, but decided not to open my computer on Christmas at all. Hopefully all of you had lovely times over Christmas even without timely greetings from me. ;)

Tarkoituksenani oli postata jouluntoivotukset näiden kuvien kera jouluaattona tai joulupäivänä, mutta päätin pitää sittenkin digipaastoa joulun ajan enkä avannut tietokonetta ollenkaan. Toivottavasti teillä kaikilla oli mukavat joulunpyhät ilman minun ajankohtaisia toivotuksianikin. ;)

Yosuke's Toy Cars - 22 December

Yosuke got a lot of toy cars for Christmas! :D
This time we have a guest star who arranged this set up - my dad! :D He saw me taking pictures for the Advent Calendar and insisted I had to take some with red cars and train wagons. As I'm a doll addict, he loves to collect model cars and Märklin model railways.

Something else is also new. I got my (main) Christmas present early. My parents asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I had two options. PlayStation4 Pro or a new lens for my DSLR, for both I'd put in some money myself to not be a prick and just ask for price-y gifts.. As I haven't had time to play the games on the consoles I already have, I decided I'd rather have a good lens. It was time to finally put my DSLR, Sony Alpha77 into good use.

Yosuke sai paljon autoja joululahjaksi! :D
Tällä kertaa meillä onkin vieraileva tähti, joka auttoi asettelussa - meidän isä! :D Hän näki minun ottavan nukkekuvia joulukalenteria varten ja halusi ehdottomasti, että ottaisin kuvan jossa olisi punaisia autoja ja junia. Kun minä olen nukkeaddikti, isäni taas on innoissaan malliautoista ja pienoisjunanradoista.

Jokin muukin on uutta. Sain (pää)joululahjani aikaisin. Vanhempani kysyivät mitä haluaisin jouluksi. Minulla oli kaksi vaihtoehtoa, Playstation4 Pro tai sitten uusi objektiivi järjestelmäkameraani, molemmista toki maksaisin osani. Koska en ole ehtinyt pelaamaan pelejä jo omistamillani konsoleilla, päätin, että olisi järkevämpää ostaa uusi objektiivi. Nyt on viimein aika ottaa kaikki irti järjestelmäkamerastani, Sony Alpha77'sta.

Fox Cub in the Snow - 21 December

Ok, I've neglected the Advent calendar yet again... It can't be helped, too busy before Christmas.

Now I had to sit down for awhile and drink some tea. I had these pictures edited and ready to post so I thought I'd post these wintery pictures of Feni, my little Soom Teenie Gem Feny fox cub.

Happy Birthday 2016, Ciel Phantomhive! - 14 December

Ok this post comes a day late but whatever. I did this once before in 2013. If I'll continue the tradition of these Advent calendars, I'd like to make this a re-occurring thing, to celebrate Ciel's birthday every year on 14th of December... even after only a few remember this character. :D

Anyway, here's something that I ordered for myself for Christmas. Some of you might remember that I got myself a Real Action Heroes Sebastian from our trip to Japan in 2015. While that figure is cool in itself, the character that I actually like in Kuroshitsuji is Ciel Phantomhive. I tried to resist this RAH Ciel, but Figuya only had one left so...

No niin tämä postaus tulee nyt päivän myöhässä mutta mitä siitä. Postasin ainakin kerran aikaisemmin Cielin kunniaksi vuoden 2013 joulukalenterissa. Jos jatkan vielä joulukalentereiden pitämistä muodossa tai toisessa, niin olisi hauskaa tehdä Cielin synttäripäivä-postauksista jatkuva teema joka vuosi 14. joulukuuta... jopa senkin jälkeen kuin vain harva enää muistaa tätä hahmoa! :D

Jokatapauksessa, tässä jotakin mitä tilasin itselleni jouluksi. Jotkut saattanevat ehkä muistaa, että ostin itselleni Real Action Heroes Sebastianin matkaltamme Japaniin vuonna 2015. Vaikka se figuuri onkin tosi cool, Kuroshitsujin hahmoista parhain on silti minusta itse Ciel Phantomhive. Yritin kyllä vastustaa tätä RAH Cieliä, mutta Figuyassa oli enää yksi joten...

Saint Lucy's Day - 13 December

Today is Saint Lucy's memorial day, or Santa Lucia's Day as she is more widely known here in the Northern countries. It's a day that celebrates light conquering darkness and hope overcoming hopelessness and despair. Read more about it in my Advent Calendar post from the year 2013.

Possibly Risa - 10 December

Today I went to a Christmas-themed dollmeet held by Xaya <3 Thank you so much, it was really fun and I loved seeing all the dolls everyone had brought there and it was fun talking with everyone there.
I'll try to cover this meet and the earlier winter garden one in the blog soon. 

I'm really starting to adore this little Lil Fairy Riam. <3 I had a lot of pictures of my other dolls that I was considering for today's calendar post. But this little one stole the spotlight again. I'm thinking of naming her Risa. That'd be written with hiragana alone, りさ, since it's simple and cute, just like this little one. <3

Tänään olin pikkujoulumiitissä, jonka Xaya ystävällisesti järjesti. <3 Kiitos tosi paljon, oli oikein hauskaa, oli kivaa nähdä toisten nukkeja sekä jutella paikalle saapuneiden kanssa.

Yritän postata pidemmin tästä miitistä, sekä siitä aiemmasta talvipuutarhamiitistä pidemmälti pian.

Tämä pikku Lil Fairy Riam on tainnut varastaa sydämeni. <3 Minulla oli harkinnassa monta kuvaa muista nukeista, joita harkitsin tähän postaukseen, mutta tämä pikkuinen vei taas kerran voiton huomiosta. Olen ajatellut antaa sille nimeksi Risa. Se kirjoitettaisiin vain hiraganoilla, りさ , koska se on yksinkertaista ja söpöä, ihan kuin itse nukkekin. <3

Insert Christmassy Title here - 08 & 09 December

This time I had to combine my Advent Calendar posts for yesterday and today. I was too busy yesterday, so I didn't have time to spend too much time on the computer. If you want your Advent calendar fix each day, you'd perhaps want to take a look at my Instagram. Even if I fail posting the Advent calendar pics here in this blog everyday, I try to update something into Insta daily.

Anyway, I found the pictures of my Beyla and this Christmas tree snowglobe music box  I got for Christmas a couple of years ago.
I took the pics in January, just as I was putting away the Christmas decorations. I still remember how sad I felt, listening to the music of this music box snow globe and thought to myself "It'll be a whole year until I can take the decorations out again.." Well, time flew past and it's Christmas time again!

Maybe I should take new pictures with this same theme as these are quite over-exposed.

Tällä kertaa pitää yhdistää eilisen ja tämän päivän kalenteriluukut. Olin liian kiireinen eilen, joten en ehtinyt kuluttaa paljoa aikaa tietokoneella. Jos kuitenkin kaipaat joulukalenteri-annoksesi päivittäin, suosittelen kurkkimaan Instagramiini. Vaikka en ehtisikään blogia päivittämään joka päivä, yritän silti pysyä päivittäisessä tahdissa Instan puolella.

Tässä kuitenkin yksi kuvista, jotka otin Beylasta ja joululahjaksi saamastani lumisadepallosta. Löysin kuvat jokin aika sitten. Olin jo ihan unohtanut ottaneeni ne!

Kuvia katsellessa muistui kuitenkin mieleen, että otin ne tammikuussa samalla kun pakkasin joulukoristeita pois. Muistan edelleen, kuinka haikeana kuuntelin lumisadepallon - joka on myös soittorasia - soittamaa sävelmää ja mietin itsekseni "Kokonainen vuosi ennenkuin voin taas ottaa koristeet esille..." No, aika riensi ja taas on pian joulu!

Ehkäpä pitäisi ottaa nämä samat kuvat uudestaan, koska ovat näköjään melkoisen ylivalottuneita. Tämänkin kanssa sain tapella Photoshopissa jonkin aikaa, että siitä tuli esittämiskelpoinen.
